✅ Description:
EZETROL is a medicine to lower increased levels of cholesterol. EZETROL lowers levels of total cholesterol, “bad” cholesterol (LDL cholesterol), and fatty substances called triglycerides in the blood.
Ezetrol 10mg Tablet 10s (strip) may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown side effects on the fetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable even with the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Ezetimibe works by blocking the absorption of cholesterol in the small intestine. This leads to a reduction in the amount of cholesterol that enters the bloodstream.
Unlike statins, which reduce cholesterol production in the liver, Ezetrol targets intestinal absorption, making it effective as part of combination therapy.

Standard dose: 10 mg once daily, with or without food
Can be used alone or with statins/fibrates

No academic reports explaining the use of Ezetrol 10mg Tablet 10s (strip) for breastfeeding mothers have been located. However, if Ezetrol 10mg Tablet 10s (strip) is taken by breastfeeding mothers, the nursing infant should be closely monitored for any adverse reactions.
Driving Warning (Generally Safe)
Ezetrol 10mg Tablet 10s (strip) usually does not affect the ability to drive. Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Kidney Warning (Use With Care)
Ezetrol 10mg Tablet 10s (strip) should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Ezetrol 10mg Tablet 10s (strip) may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver Warning (Limited Data)
Ezetrol 10mg Tablet 10s (strip) is not recommended in patients with moderate and severe liver disease; Child Pugh Score > 7. Please consult your doctor.
